"Bacon vodka" just sounds matter-of-fact. It's self explanitory, but you have to think about it for a second before the shock settles in.

"Vodkacon", (which reads "vodka-con", not "vodkayken") gives a feeling of a novelty product. It reminds me of the name Turducken. It sounds cheesy.

"Bacon Vodka" is a much more serious term. I actually really like this thread.

I don't think it'd be as bad as all of you make it out... just a little disgusting. It'll be like mixing bacon grease and vodka together and drinking it. Vodka alone is great but when you drink a shot of bacon grease it coats your mouth and throat for a looong time. This coating will now be vodka flavored resulting in too much lingering vodka taste. I predicted at least gaggage.

- repellent for vegans.
- something to attract your pets.

To the people mentioning bacon grease and bacteria, the alcohol has caused the fat to separate out, hence the plan to filter it through cheesecloth, and anything above about 15% ABV will kill most bacteria. That's why beers and wines never go higher than that, only spirits like vodka can.

Not the OP, by the way, just mentioning it. This reminds me about an idea I had a while ago for lentil sake, brewed with lentils instead of rice. I'd use it for cooking, being teetotal, but it still sounds brutal. Should I try it?

To hell with drinking it, strain it really good take the liquid fill up a super soaker with it and go visit a mosque!
